Hi! I am Angie, the founder of The Bright Spot. I am thrilled to introduce our brand-new website, designed by Meg at Swayze Design Studio (include link)! This fresh, vibrant space reflects everything we love about The Bright Spot—creativity, community, and inclusivity. Whether you’re a returning friend or discovering us for the first time, we’re so happy you’re here!

Who We Are

The Bright Spot is more than a place for creative classes—it’s a local Lexington, KY hub where people of all ages come together to learn, grow, and celebrate. Since 2021, we have been on a mission to foster joy in learning and build a supportive, inclusive community.

As a lifelong educator and mother, inclusion is at the heart of everything I do. Inspired by my own creative children—Olivia and Lee—I’ve made it my mission to create a space where everyone feels welcome. At The Bright Spot, we believe creativity should be accessible to all, and we’re passionate about ensuring every learner can thrive.

What We Offer

We provide a variety of engaging, hands-on experiences for all ages, including:

  • Creative Classes – Explore art, science, Lego, and more through interactive classes (Lego Club, Craft Club, Kid's Night Out, and More)

  • Celebrations – Host a birthday party or special event in a space designed for fun and creativity.

  • Summer Camps – Keep the learning going all summer long with immersive camps.

  • Homeschool Groups – Enrich your homeschool experience with our unique programs.

  • Community Events – Connect, create, and celebrate with us throughout the year!
